Hey, it’s Ry.
The past week was one of gratitude and reflection, yet another testament to the collective spirit of Camas. Here are some updates and sentiments shared by your neighbors.
1. Media Highlights
Part of my interview with Post-Record was featured this Thursday. Read here.
Lacamas Magazine also shared insights about our campaign. Check it out.
Monday’s edition of River Talk Weekly will include a new piece from me.
2. Voices from the Heart of Camas

They’re definitely worth reading in full and I very much encourage you to send a letter to the editor of your own to The Columbian and The Post-Record today!

3. Camas Parks & Rec Commission Special Mtg
On Thursday the Parks & Rec Commission held a *special* meeting on a host of issues and unfortunately I had to leave early due to my youngest having a medical emergency. But video of the meeting is now online and I suggest you watch it:
If you don’t want to watch it all, skip to the 01hr11m30s point in the recording..
I’m out knocking doors again all weekend—focused on the north east part of Prune Hill and a handful of newer apartment complexes. If I haven’t visited your neck of the woods, please let me know and I’ll make sure to stop by ASAP!
