Hey, it's Ry.
No fluff today—let's get straight to the point. It’s Wednesday. But this isn't just another day. It's a call to action. A call to make our voices heard here in Camas.
The Power of Voice
Last week, we talked about voice—yours, mine, ours. And then some of us got gagged. They tried to silence me, and then some of you, who courageously stood with me. Here's the truth: you can't mute a community, especially not in Camas.
The Louder We Get
The more they try to hush us, the louder and stronger we become. Why? Because your vote is your ultimate megaphone. And it's time we crank up the volume.
The Road Ahead: Transparency, Community, Revival, Voice
Your City
When it comes to our city drinking water, there can be no compromise on safety. We've all heard about the PFAS levels and the contaminated well that was turned back on without adequate exploration of other options. This is unacceptable. We need transparency and accountability to ensure every Camas resident is informed.
Your Lake
Lacamas is more than just a scenic view. It’s a living part of our community that’s been neglected for too long. We need to repair its toxic state immediately and partner with our neighbors to ensure our solution is holistic and sustainable.
Your Pool
They asked for your input about the community pool, and what did they do? Ignored it. A pool is not just a place to swim. It’s the heart beat of a community, and our community deserves to have it restored without the need for a new bond.
Your Voice
You’ve been speaking, and I've been listening. And I know your voice must be heard. This goes beyond simple dialogue. It's about transforming words into actions. And it starts with bringing the power back to the people, back to you.
The days of empty promises and silenced voices are coming to an end. Together, let’s create a Camas that listens, that acts, and most importantly, that values each and every one of our fellow neighbors.
Call to Action
Today, knock on your neighbor's door.
Say hi.
Remind them that their vote matters. And why you’re voting this November.
And then tomorrow, Thursday, greet your neighbor on the left.
The day after that? The one on your right.
We're not just voting for one. We're voting for all. We’re voting for the people of Camas. That's the type of noise they can't afford to ignore.
The Ballot Drop
Time is of the essence, Camas. In a few weeks, it's over.
Got word our Military already received their ballots. So you gotta ask yourself…
Are you okay with the status quo?
Or is it time for a change—to ensure our voices are not just heard but acted upon?
If you're nodding, you know what to do.
Go say hi to your neighbor. 😎
